If your a girl like me with very oily skin prone to spots, black heads and a super shiny face. It maybe be hard to find products to prevent these type of things happening, but over the years of trying all kinds of products on my face. I have found a few that work well for my skin with out to much hassle and break outs. When it comes to makeup for oily skin there are a quite a few products out there to help matte your skin and prevent your face from becoming a grease fest. By using the right products when doing your makeup it will help your makeup last longer, you can save yourself money as you won’t have to keep reapplying, you will feel much more comfortable and confidante that you don’t have to check your face every two seconds to see how shiny your face is getting. Here are a few products that have worked for me, but the key thing is to try various brands and products that work for you and your skin.
This kind of product is great to apply before putting your foundation on as it smooths out your skin, so when applying your base it has a even effect. It comes in may different forms from creams to oils. Primer also helps to matte your skin and keep your makeup on your face which I would defiantly recommend anyone with oily skin to try.
I can’t live with out this product, its great for finishing off your makeup to give your foundation a matte, finished, airbrush look. The press powder usually comes in a compact and last for ages. I think with this product its quite important to use a good powder brush as it helps the effect and is easy to apply evenly.
Some Lose powders I find are too heavy for my skin because every time I apply it. It feels like my face is stuck and it can’t breath. Weird I know. I do know a lot of girls who prefer lose powders so you will have to try it out to see if it works for you. Lose powder does the same thing as press powder but its in a powder form. (which can be messy at times)
My skin is super oily especially on the corners of my brow bone. This product really helps me to shape my eyebrows evenly and also help them to stay on for longer. I love my eyebrows to be drawn on, but if you prefer your eyebrow more natural I would suggest using a powder with a angle bush and clear mascara to help keep your eyebrows on.
