Natural Hair Journey: From Big Afro To Slick Bun

Hiyah ladies, well I was getting ready to hit the town and was wondering what to do with me hair…so I wanted to try this bun look out. My hair was in its natural afro state and I didn’t want to use heat or rock a hair piece, so I gave the slick bun a try.

Check out the results and let me know if it works for you on your natural hair. x

Very cute! Go easy with that hard bristle brush. You want to keep nice full edges. For those ladies who want a smoother look; simply tie a scarf around the perimeter of the head right after you apply your gel. Leave the scarf on while you create the bun. And then remove the scarf before you head out the door. Should be nice and smoooth. Have a good time!
