i do a 2 strand twist & leave in for a while then take out or if i just leave to dry natural i comb out when dry into a big puffy fro ;p xx

girl u crack me up *baby ape* lol u really have to go easy, wen that hair line goes! it may be best to take the braids out listen to ur hair! please use wigs or something that lets your scalp hav a chance to strengthen itself, too much tension, & weight from hair styles try to not manipulate it & nourish it bak to strength x

hey….its me again so i got on with it already i cut my dreadlocks-looked like a BABY APE!!!! then i decided to braid it with extensions of cos but heres where the issue is at-my hairline is dying from this tightness n pulling from the braids!help!!!!

Your tips helped. I transitioned. I’ve been natural for 1yr 9 months now. I’m still learning, but proud of my natural curls and medium size afro thus far. I can’t wait til my afro is your size. Your hair is gorgeous.

Hello ladies, and HELLO MO-AM. I’m Eritrean..and i never relaxed my hair..but never found a way to deal with it naturally. Before moving to Italy (8 years ago) my routine was going to the hair dresser and make them straight. When i moved here i sadly discovered i could not afford my old habits. So i simply started tying them. It was kind of embarrassing for me going around with my dry puffy bowl on my head ( they were very log), since i never even experienced them in my mama Africa. BUT i resisted the temptation to relax them. Today i’m 26 and thank’s to you i’m going to take into serious consideration untying my hair into a more natural fit. It’s hours i’m here browsing into your tips. It’s going to be hard finding the wright products here, but i guess i’m going to purchase them on-line (especally the leave-in conditioner) So… thank you mo-am.

you can go natural if you want.. transition first breads no perms or you could do a short pixie like rihanna and transition from there

Help. I’m makeup challenged n don’t like to wear a lot. Simple drug store products cuz I’m on a budget. Luv u lots.

But I know alot of Naturals come to your Page..So thats why I asked. some of them even go as far as saying if you wear weave or perm your hair that means you hate yourself. but be quick to dye Their hair red or blonde..umm you werent born With red hair thats not your natural color
